2010 Crops
The 2010 season will include 27 vegetables, 6 herbs and 2 fruits. An average of 4 different varieties of each vegetable will be grown, totaling around 100 varieties.
Each year's harvest is affected by nature (weather, pests and disease) but this great variety of crops ensures a diverse and ample share each week. Shares are modest in the first few weeks but grow quickly in size and variety.
Early weeks:
Lettuce, radish, spring turnips, peas, kale, swiss chard, greens, ...
Mid-summer:
Beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, celery, cucumbers, eggplant, kale, lettuce, onions, peppers, summer squash, summer squash, tomatoes, herbs, ...
Late summer/Fall:
Mid-summer crops plus: arugula, cabbage, salad greens, leeks, parsnips, potatoes, spinach, sweet potatoes, turnips and winter squash.
