Certified Naturally Grown is a grassroots organization which provides small farms with an alternative to the USDA Organic Certification program. The USDA Organic Certification program is affordable and more suited to the huge organic agribusiness farms but counter productive to the small farm.

Certified Naturally Grown uses the USDA Organic Standards as a starting point, but goes even further and randomly tests the soil of CNG farms for pesticide residues. CNG also allows the public to view each farmer's application, declaration and inspection reports. Visit our CNG listing here.
